A little bit of Scottish rugby pride!

This year’s Scotland home shirt, manufactured by Macron in partnership with Scottish Rugby, is much more than just a rugby jersey. It celebrates Scotland’s identity, heritage and spectacular natural landscape.

Keeping the traditional deep navy blue that has become synonymous with Scottish rugby, the 2026/27 shirt introduces subtle design features inspired by Scotland’s rugged coastline, mountains and wilderness.

The design theme, ‘Sand and Ice’, brings together two distinctive elements of the Scottish landscape. Sand-inspired tones feature in the detailing, paying tribute to Scotland’s dramatic coastline, while light blue piping around the sleeves and neckline represents the ice and glaciers that helped shape the country’s magnificent scenery.

Look a little closer and you’ll discover another special detail. An understated, embossed stag antler pattern runs across the shoulders, sleeves and back of the shirt. Inspired by Scotland’s Highland wildlife and the iconic imagery of the country’s heritage, it gives the jersey a distinctive character without losing its classic look.

The shirt also proudly features the Scottish Rugby crest, Macron branding and the Saltire, making it a fantastic piece of kit for any Scotland supporter.

There’s a modern sustainability story behind it, too. The kit is manufactured using recycled polyester materials, made from post-consumer recycled plastic, combining performance, comfort and environmental responsibility.

It’s a great combination of traditional Scottish rugby identity and contemporary sportswear design.
