The Scottish Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (Scottish SPCA) is Scotland's animal welfare charity. Our objectives are to prevent cruelty to animals and encourage kindness and humanity in their treatment.
As an animal welfare charity, we receive no government or lottery funding and rely on public donations to continue our vital work rescuing and rehoming Scotland's abandoned, neglected and defenceless animals.
Scottish SPCA Inspectors save thousands of domestic, farm and wild animals from harm and danger every year, while our vets and staff in our wildlife and animal rescue and rehoming centres look after, rehabilitate and rehome thousands more.
Visit our online animal rehoming section to view some of our dogs needing new homes, rescue cats and other animals for rehoming, including rabbits and other small animals.

We run an animal welfare education programme in schools, communities and our largest centres. We also campaign for improved animal welfare standards.
Volunteers play a key role working with animals, supporting our education programme and fundraising in their local communities.
The Scottish SPCA is entirely separate from the RSPCA, which operates in England and Wales only. There is no such charity as the 'RSPCA Scotland' or 'Scottish RSPCA'!
If you want to help an animal charity in Scotland, you can join the Scottish SPCA.
You can help prevent cruelty to animals. If you know of an animal in danger or distress, call our Animal Helpline: 03000 999 999.

Each year the nation expresses its unequivocal support for The Royal British Legion's charity work through the Poppy Appeal. The 2010 Poppy Appeal is emphasising the need to help the Afghan generation of the Armed Forces and their families – today and for the rest of their lives.   For their sake, wear a poppy - and please help our fundraising by making a donation or volunteering your time.

Introducing Child Protection UK Ltd (C.P. UK Ltd)

Child Protection UK was started towards the end of 2004 with only a small team of staff. It was hard finding the right employees to do this job, we needed people who were not only motivated but also dedicated and believed in changing and educating societies opinions on drug abuse.

When our last newsletter was published, I thought the level of support from businesses was fantastic. In the six months since then we have donated more computers to schools. We have also donated a computer to Lyndhurst Primary School in Dukinfield, Manchester who have suffered at the hands of vandals after a blaze. They are slowly rebuilding their school.

Welcome to the home of everything that is Air Cadets.

The Air Cadet Organisation is thriving! Each year more than 60,000 cadets, volunteer staff and civilian committee members help engage in pursuits and rewarding opportunities such as championing good causes in local communities, pursuing sporting events at a national level and becoming international youth ambassadors.

Air cadets aged 13 to 19 are given the chance by our team of staff and volunteers to learn to fly, develop skills to lead expeditions, tour foreign countries, become target shooting marksmen, join a band and learn about aviation and aerospace. This is only a small list of the many activities and opportunities available all whilst making new friends.
