RF Global Solutions statement In respect of the potential unregulated Brexit preparations by RF Global Solutions.

RF Global Solutions are taking the potential impact of Brexit extremely seriously and have been putting many safeguards in place to smooth the Brexit process for our customers and suppliers. As a company we are extremely experienced in dealing with customers and suppliers outside the European Union worldwide. This gives us a firm handle on WTO, Tariffs, Customs Procedures and an in-depth knowledge on all aspects of Imports and Exports out with the European Union. We are holders of a full Inward Processing (IP) Authorisation allowing goods being sent in for repair to have any potential customs duty and VAT suspended providing we re-export within agreed timelines, our average repair time is under 1 week a fraction of our approved throughput period.

We have been steadily increasing the amount of consumables which we hold in our warehouse to carry out the repairs in a timely manner and help ensure that we aren’t affected by late deliveries of components etc.

In addition to all of this we are in the process of applying for a full Approved Economic Operator Status (AEO) both Approved Economic Operator Customs (AEOC )and Approved Economic Operator Security (AEOS).

AEO status is an internationally recognised quality mark that shows RF Global Solutions role in the international supply chain is secure and that our customs controls and procedures are efficient and meet EU standards. As of January 2019 only 679 companies in the United Kingdom have this extremely prestigious status giving RF Global Solutions a clear advantage over the competition.

As RF Global Solutions will be applying for both AEOC and AEOS the company can expect to benefit from some of the following;

AEOC status

A faster application process for customs simplifications and authorisations

Reductions or waivers of comprehensive guarantees

undertaking centralised clearance (when available)

completing self-assessment (when implemented)

AEOS status

A lower risk score – used to decide the how often customs carry out physical and documentary checks

Consignments being fast-tracked through customs control

Reduced requirements for the mandatory pre-arrival and pre-departure Entry Summary Declarations or Exit Summary Declarations

Reciprocal arrangements and mutual recognition with countries outside the EU

AEO has recognition in many countries across the globe including USA, Japan, Norway, Switzerland China and soon to include Canada.
